We are seeking?Research Technicians?for our?Safety Assessment?site located in?Ashland, OH.

Charles River Ashland is growing and we're seeking motivated individuals to join our team!? Extensive on the job training is provided with no prior experience necessary.? If you have an interest working with animals and desire a fast paced work environment with tons of opportunity this may be a career for you.? 1st shift, 2nd shift, and weekend shifts available.? Prior farm experience, FFA or 4H involvement is desirable but not required.? Benefits include but are not limited to:

Responsibilities include handling and restraining animals, clinical observations, sample collection, monitoring food consumption, animal husbandry, and performing accurate data collection and reporting.? This is a physical job that requires walking/standing.? This job is performed in a team setting with shared work space.

  • Education:? High school diploma or General Equivalent Degree (G.E.D.). Associates or Bachelor?s preferred (B.S) or equivalent in animal or life science or related discipline.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
