Job Description
1st 7:00am-3:00pm
2nd 3:00pm-11:00pm
3rd 11:00pm-7:00am
(May train on 1st shift before moving to 2nd or 3rd shift)
Pay: $9.50/hr
General Functions:
To perform the assigned job in the extrusion department on a daily basis. This can range from operating an extrusion line, cutting blocks, packaging, housekeeping, off-line jobs, etc.
Perform work in a Safe manner/Follow all Safety rules
Operate extrusion lines
Operate various off-line pieces of equipment to include: cutters, tape machines, punch press, tape reeling machine
Produce product according to tolerances on blueprints
Perform routine measurements per quality standards
Read and interpret extrusion paperwork
Maintain accurate paperwork/confirm information Into SAP system
Ability to work in team environment
Perform daily housekeeping duties: sweep, mop, chip salt, skim, fill makeup tanks with 55 lb bags of salt
Correctly package and label products
Meet or exceed daily production requirements per standards
Maintain flexibility In job assignment
Prefer rubber experience but can train.
Required Qualifications
Must pass pre-employment drug screen & background check.
Must have Proof of Diploma or GED
Steel toe boot required.
Standing majority of time, some bending, lifting & carrying up to 50 lbs regularly; over 50 lbs occasionally.
Must be able to interpret blueprints, use calipers, scales, comparators and other means of measurement
Must be able to read measurements and have ability to work through problems
Ability to maintain accurate counts and figures to ensure proper reporting of production and inventory
Ability to manage multiple priorities, effective Team Player, self motivated, quick learner
Excellent communication skills with the ability to read, write and communicate fluently in English for this position.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
