We are currently looking to add a full -time Dog Daycare/ Kennel Attendant to join our team of fun individuals.
Job Description:
We are looking for an enthusiastic, hardworking, and dog-loving individual to join our team as a Dog Daycare/Kennel Attendant.
This position requires someone who is available to work 3- 12 hour shifts (with a 1-hour lunch break) a week and at least one weekend a month.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Supervising dog daycare groups and ensure their safety and well-being Evaluating Dog Behavior, reactions, and interactions with other dogs Encouraging obedience and good behavior among our furry friends Taking photos of playtime for social media General cleaning including:
laundry, washing dishes and mopping Feeding and administering medications to dogs Providing exceptional customer service to pet owners Caring for boarding guests and ensure their comfort and happiness Continuously learning about dog behavior and body language to improve care standards Requirements:
Must be 18 years or older with reliable transportation Available to work 3- 12 hour shifts a week (6 am-6 pm, set days will be discussed with candidate) with occasional weekends and holidays Must have the physical ability to work with dogs of various breeds and sizes, to be on your feet for extended periods of time and go up and down stairs.
Must have a positive attitude Must be reliable and adhere to attendance policy Available to work collaboratively within a team Show willingness to continuously learn and improve Must be able to work at a fast pace, in a team environment, and have excellent time management skills.
Must be able to follow directions and comply with processes and procedures for best practices in animal care, health and safety Previous kennel or dog daycare experience is beneficial but not required Candidates interested in dog training and behavior are highly encouraged to apply!
