50 an hour Our growing childcare facility here at Milestones Learning Center, is seeking a Nursery and Toddler room teacher.
A CDA and/or degree is not required but preferable.
As a teacher, the qualified candidate should have knowledge of child development and play-based learning environments.
The teacher will work to create age appropriate curriculum-based activities for the growth and development of the children.
The teacher will partner positively with the teaching team to create a child-centered learning environment.
The ideal candidate needs to be reliable, hardworking and flexible.
This is a fun, fast-paced teaching environment.
If you have a love of teaching and working with children, then this is a position for you! This is a full time position Monday-Friday, 9am-6pm.
Our center is closed on weekends.
We are a 5 Star Step Up To Quality program.
Daily duties included/but are not limited to:
Develop and maintain a constructive and ongoing rapport with children and parents.
Keep individual records of children's daily activities.
Create activities that are fun and educational for the children.
Collaborate with other teachers to ensure that the school fosters an environment that is inviting and nurturing for every child.
Deliver reports on potential concerns about students to management as needed.
Understand and follow Ohio State Licensing Regulations for Childcare facilities.
Follow all state and SUTQ guidelines for childcare facilities.
Manage day-to-day classroom activities, including structured lessons, free play, bathroom breaks, lunch time and rest time for students.
